Today in drama class, this guy and I were talking about How I Met Your Mother, and then Neil Patrick Harris.
I believe he said something along the lines of “Yeah, NPH was my hero! And then I found out he was gay and had kids with another dude and my dreams were crushed! I mean, how could someone so cool be so gay?”
And then he started laughing like it was the most hilarious thing on the planet.
Honestly! I had a similar experience with a pretty homophobic friend of mine except I was there when he found out NPH is gay. His reaction “Damn! Yo that makes me sad.”
Fucking people need to get with it. I don’t understand the hate.
