isn’t this problematic?
yes. yes it is. it shows us that an old woman in a wheelchair’s ideal is a young, extremely thin, able-bodied person. That is harmful. Not everyone aspires to be that. We shouldn’t.
There’s so much ableism, ageism, and fatphobia in this, I can’t even take comfort in the positive message the words are promoting.
